What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We do not allow you to add comments to posts or articles.
You cannot upload Media to our website.
We have two contact forms on our website.
The Contact us form asks for your name and email address. This allows us to respond to your enquiry in a personal friendly manner by addressing you by name. We will not add you to any form of mailing list as a result of submitting the form.
We will receive a notification of your enquiry in our contact relationship management system, as well as by email. This allows us to ensure your request is dealt with in a timely manner and does not fall through the cracks.
Similarly the form on the CareForWP Signup page requests your name and email address, your phone number if you would like to give it, and requires details of the website and package that you would like help with.
If you have an account such as a Tech Club membership and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

How long we retain your data
Tech Club members
It is a requirement of Tech Club that members register a profile or user profile on our website. For such users we also store their personal information provided. Each user can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time, except they cannot change their username. Website administrators can also see and edit that information. It will only be edited by an administrator on the user’s behalf and at their request. An example would be if a user has requested that their membership be cancelled it is necessary to update the user’s profile.
On joining Tech Club, we ask members whether they would like to subscribe to the Tech Club mailing list. Such a subscription is optional and is intended to add value to the Tech Club membership by reminding members of the facility they have available and how to access it.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
